Danya Desjardins D.O.M.P., D.Sc.O., B.Sc.N.
Danya began her healthcare career as a Registered Nurse in home care after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Laurentian University. Early in her nursing career, she felt called to deepen her understanding of the body and pursue a more hands-on approach to addressing the root causes of pain and imbalance.
In 2012, she began her studies in Traditional Osteopathy with a desire to learn new methods of restoring health and balance. Danya completed her training at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in 2018 and has since been dedicated to helping patients through individualized, manual treatment.
In 2020, she expanded her scope of practice by completing additional training in Neurological Myofascial Release for Animals. She now provides manual osteopathic treatments for both small and large animals.
By combining her background in nursing with her training in osteopathy, Danya brings a thoughtful, whole-body approach to care. She is passionate about supporting her patients — human and animal alike — on their journey toward improved health, balance, and overall well-being.
